Manchester City manager, Pep Guardiola, expresses confidence that his team can reverse a 3-0 deficit against Real Madrid in the second leg of the Champions League last-16.
Federico Valverde netted an impressive hat-trick as Los Blancos dominated City at the Bernabeu on Wednesday evening.
This outcome places Guardiola’s squad on the verge of being eliminated from the competition.
However, the Spaniard is convinced that the match at the Etihad next Tuesday will present a different scenario.
Guardiola stated to TNT Sports: “Now we recover mentally and physically and go to West Ham.
“We will see. We will be with our supporters – I am quite certain they will attend – and in football, anything can happen. We will make an effort.”
