Ukraine has accepted to help the US and its allies fight the war in the Middle East.
Ukraine will help the US and its allies deal with Iran’s Shahed drones, according to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, after the US asked for help.
Russia has sent tens of thousands of Shaheds to Ukraine since it started attacking its neighbor more than four years ago.
At one point, Russia launched a swarm of more than 800 drones and decoys in its biggest night-time barrage.
Iran has fired the same kind of drones used in the US and Israeli attacks at other countries in the Middle East as a response.
Zelenskyy posted on social media saying he got a request from the US for help to fight the drones in the Middle East.
He told them he had ordered equipment to be sent along with Ukrainian experts.
“Ukraine supports allies that help keep our country safe and protect the lives of our people,” he said.
Ukraine has started making affordable drone-killing gear that costs just $1,000.
